Established on April 18, 1995, LEND A HAND SOCIETY (LAHS) is now a highly appreciated Youth NGO which from its inception has been operating on the following Triangular Mandate:

• Sponsorship of needy students from funds locally raised by young people for our Students’ Aid Fund (SAF)

• Help young people develop and nurture positive attitudes such as responsibility, time consciousness, respect for themselves, elders and authority, as well as uphold the concept of self-reliance (attitude building)

• Make young people appreciate one another irrespective of their cultural differences (inter-cultural appreciation and tolerance)
